Housing Selection with eRezLife

Housing and Residence Life recently partnered with eRezLife in order to provide our residential students with a streamlined process for Housing Selection!

  • A customized Housing Application Process that allows students to communicate preferences, interests, and accommodations within their housing application
  • Real-Time Room Selection where students can see available rooms via a housing lottery system and empowers students to choose available housing that meets their preferences and needs
  • Intelligent Roommate Matching that utilizes advanced algorithms to facilitate optimal roommate pairings, fostering harmonious living environments and enables student pairings based on compatibility, preferences, and lifestyle factors and;
  • Instant Assignment Notification that will allow students to receive confirmation of their official room assignment offer instantaneously during the room-lottery process!

Returning Student Housing Selection Process

This application process is intended only for current Marywood students who will be residing in on-campus housing for the 2026-2027 academic year.

In order to participate in the housing selection process, students must do the following:

  • Pay the $300 Room Reservation Fee
    • Pay Your Room Reservation Fee
      Instructions will be posted when the application process opens on February 2, 2026

  • Read and Electronically sign the Housing Agreement
    • Sign the 2026-2027 Housing Agreement 
      Instructions will be posted when the application process opens on February 2, 2026

  • January 27, 2026: Housing Application Info Session - 6:00-7:00p.m. - Swartz A
  • January 29, 2026: Housing Application Info Session - 2:00-3:00  p.m. - Swartz C
  • February 2, 2026: Housing Applications Open
  • February 3, 2026: Housing Application Info Session - 10:00-11:00 a.m. - Swartz A
  • February 2, 2026: Housing Application Info Session - 6:00-7:00 p.m. - Swartz C
  • March 16, 2026: Housing Application Closes
  • March 17, 2026: eRezLife Pacer Pop-In, Q&A session - 10:00-11:00 a.m. - Housing & ResLife Office
  • March 18, 2026: eRezLife Pacer Pop-In, Q&A session - 12:00-1:00 p.m. - Housing & ResLife Office
  • March 19, 2026: eRezLife Pacer Pop-In, Q&A session - 3:00-4:00 p.m. - Housing & ResLife Office
  • March 23, 2026 – March 27, 2026: Housing Lottery

Current Marywood students and upper class transfer students will complete the Housing Application in the online tool, eRezLife.

The Housing Application process opens on Monday, February 2, 2026, and closes on Monday, March 16, 2026.

When the Housing Applications close and the room lottery process begins, you will receive an email to your Marywood email with your designated lottery time.

The Housing Lottery is the process that allows students to choose their Housing assignment for the academic year.

The housing lottery gives you the opportunity to select your preferred roommate(s), if applicable, and choose your desired housing option.

After students submit their housing application, they will be assigned a time slot based on earned credits (for groups and pairs, the individual with the highest credits will determine the time slot).

Returning Student Housing Selection FAQs

Policy: All unmarried, full-time students are required to reside in University housing during their first two years of enrollment, unless they are at least 21 years of age and/or living with their parents or guardians in their primary family homes, within a 45-mile radius of the University's campus.

Students who don’t participate in selection process, but are required to live on-campus, will be notified of their assignment and meal plan at the conclusion of the housing selection process.

All Residential Students residing in undergraduate housing are required to purchase a Meal Plan.

Students who are in the study abroad program in the spring semester may participate in Housing Selection. Students who are studying abroad in the Fall Semester may NOT participate in Housing Selection.

Yes! Students who are currently commuting or living off campus may participate in the Housing process by completing the Housing Application in eRezLife.

No, Students MUST be currently enrolled at Marywood to participate in the housing process.

No, only current students may participate in the Housing selection Process.

After students have completed the Housing Application, they will receive an email with their lottery time. Lottery times are assigned based on earned credits. For groups and pairs, the individual with the highest credits will determine the lottery time.

No, students are not able to keep the same housing from one year to the next. Since all apartments and residence rooms must be vacated at the end of the academic year, students cannot roll over their current assignments.

No, Madonna Hall and the Woodland Residences do not have any minimum requirements.
