Our Environmental Studies - Justice program is designed for those who see environmental issues through the lens of equity and social justice. The Justice track in Environmental Studies acknowledges that environmental degradation often disproportionately affects marginalized communities, and it prepares students to tackle these injustices head-on. Through a curriculum that integrates environmental law, policy, and ethics with a strong emphasis on social justice, students learn the complexities of advocating for communities affected by environmental harm. This program not only aims to educate about the challenges but also to empower students with the tools to seek solutions, focusing on policy reform, community engagement, and the promotion of sustainable practices that ensure environmental benefits are shared equitably.
