The Marywood Pacers women's basketball capped off a historic season with a trip to the championship game of the Atlantic East Conference tournament—marking the program’s first conference title appearance since the 1984–85 season.
Marywood fell in the championship game, but the Pacers’ postseason run represented the program’s best conference performance in nearly four decades. The team concluded the season with a 14–13 overall record and a milestone achievement for the program.
Senior Megan Cavoli led the Pacers with 19 points in the final game of her collegiate career, shooting 8-for-20 from the field while adding six rebounds, four blocks, and three steals. Anyah Ortiz also delivered a strong performance with 18 points, and together the duo accounted for 37 of Marywood’s 49 points.
In her final collegiate appearance, Olivia Ciullo contributed eight rebounds, while Alli Anstadt recorded three steals.
Although the Pacers fell short of the conference title, the team’s run to the championship game highlights the continued growth and momentum of Marywood women’s basketball and marks a significant moment in the program’s history.
