Marywood University recently received a $15,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donation from Marc and Susan Bowen '91 in support of the University’s Momentum Program. The contribution will help expand opportunities for high school students participating in the dual enrollment program, which allows qualified juniors and seniors to earn college credits while completing their high school graduation requirements.
Momentum offers students access to a wide range of college level courses during the summer, fall, and spring semesters. Courses are taught using the same curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments as traditional college classes, giving students an early introduction to the expectations and experience of higher education.
Marywood University is grateful for the Bowens’ generosity and continued support of educational opportunities that help students prepare for future academic and professional success.
