Launch Your Career in the Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Administration - Multimedia Communication

A cooperative program with the Business, Music, and Communication Arts Departments, a bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration- Multimedia Communication is for students who have a strong affinity for visual arts and who plan to work work in arts management through galleries, museums, non-profits, and auction houses.

Combining a dual foundation in both art and business, an Arts Administration degree provides students with historical, experiential, practical, critical, and aesthetic information.

Arts Administrators run arts programs that cover a wide range of areas including painting, photography, dance, and opera, to name just a few.

  • Acquire skills for leadership roles in the industry for museums, non-profit organization, government agencies, and more.

  • Hands-on with designing, marketing, and managing exhibitions within our 4 gallery spaces, including Maslow Study Gallery and Marywood Permanent Collection.

  • Curate an exhibition

  • Courses in business, marketing, art history, and managerial science, art history, studio arts, gallery, historic preservation, and more
