                                                            Dr. Lindsey Wotanis is an associate professor and the director of multimedia communication at Marywood University. She received a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Wilkes University. She received two master's degrees--one in rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University and another in creative nonfiction from Wilkes University. She earned her Ph.D. in journalism and public communication from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park. She joined Marywood in 2010. She teaches courses in communication theory and media writing, as well as the senior capstone. She advises The Wood Word, Marywood's student-run online news source, and the campus chapter of the Society for Collegiate Journalists.
