Are you interested in planning, supervising, and managing programs for exceptional children? Would you like to grow as a leader?
Our M.S. in Administration and Supervision of Special Education program is committed to teaching you the administrative and interpersonal skills necessary to ensure the development of effective education programs for all, in a variety of settings. Our program is directed at reflective practice and the development of leaders as agents and facilitators of change.
Courses are closely aligned with Marywood's School Leadership program requirements, and the shared courses are intended to integrate the knowledge base of school leadership with the administrative challenges of specialized programming. Candidates enrolled in graduate programs in Special Education are part of the Marywood legacy for preparing special educators since 1948. Current faculty have many years of experience in the field and all hold credentials in the areas in which they teach. Every candidate is assigned a program advisor and benefits from small class sizes.
My time at Marywood has been an experience that I will never forget! From the friends I have made in and out of the classroom, the professors who have given me guidance and insight to the career I desire ahead, as well as the support and network the Marywood community has to offer, my Marywood experience has prepared me for the next phase of my life.
