Marywood University will expand its academic offerings with the launch of several new undergraduate, associate, and graduate programs designed to meet evolving workforce needs and emerging career paths across multiple industries.
The new programs span architecture, legal studies, health and education, digital media, and music, creating additional opportunities for students to pursue in demand fields while benefiting from Marywood’s hands on, career focused approach.
The School of Architecture will introduce two new degrees:
AAS in Surveying, an associate level program that prepares students for careers in land and construction surveying
BAE in Architectural Engineering, a bachelor’s program that blends architecture and engineering principles to support the design and construction of modern buildings and infrastructure
To support growing interest in legal careers, the University will add:
AAS in Paralegal Studies
Paralegal Certificate
These programs are designed to provide students with practical legal knowledge and career preparation for work in law firms, corporate settings, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
A new BS in Health and Physical Education will prepare future educators and health professionals to promote wellness, physical activity, and lifelong healthy habits in school and community settings.
Several new programs will expand opportunities for students pursuing creative and media driven careers.
In Multimedia Communication:
AA in Media Production, offering a strong foundation in audio, video, and digital content creation
BA in Digital Influencing, a forward thinking program focused on content strategy, branding, audience engagement, and multimedia storytelling
In Music, Theatre, and Dance:
BA in Music Production and Entrepreneurship, combining music creation with the business skills needed for today’s industry
MA in Music Education, a graduate program designed for educators seeking advanced knowledge and leadership in music education
