Marywood Will Host Lackawanna County's 2022 College Fair
Marywood University will host the Annual Lackawanna County College Fair on Wednesday, October 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Center for Athletics and Wellness. The event is open to the public, and high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend. The Lackawanna County College Fair is expected to host nearly 50 local, in-state, and out-of-state schools this year.
Additionally, prior to the event, Marywood University will host a presentation at 6:15 p.m. in the Swartz Center for Spiritual Life for students seeking guidance on navigating their college search. Concurrent with the event, Marywood will host a general financial aid information session, beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the Swartz Center.

Retiring President Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D. to Address Class of 2024
Sister Mary, who will retire on June 30, will address graduates at Marywood University’s 106th Commencement on May 18, 2024, and will be recognized with a special tribute at the ceremony.

Atty. Lori, a Marywood graduate, formerly served as Board Chair. She will begin her presidential tenure on July 1, 2024.

Community Leadership Celebration to Honor Mary Ellen McDonough '73
During the celebration, Mrs. McDonough will receive the University’s Lead On Award, in recognition of her dedicated service as both a Certified Prevention Specialist and as a community volunteer leader.
