Printing From Marywood Devices

Marywood University utilizes a system for printing known as PaperCut that allows you to print to any campus-owned printer. When printing you will select, MUFollowME on mu-papercut as the desired printing device. You can then print at any printer by tapping your ID card at the designated location on the device. There is a one-time set up process that you will need to complete upon scanning your ID for the very first time. It involves your MarywoodYou credentials.

Printing from Personal Devices

Students can print to the same printers that they access from the labs from the comfort of their own device if they are connected to Marywood Wifi. Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, and iOS are all supported. Simply visit this Papercut Mobility Print link and follow the instructions on your device to utilize MobilityPrint.

Printing FAQs

Here are some common FAQs about Papercut and printing in general just to ensure a sticky-free printing experience (paper jams... jams are sticky... it was a stretch I know!)
I have funds on my account but my print request is denied.
  • To ensure you are able to print you will need to purchase Pacer Points through the “GET Funds” website. Pacer points are a more versatile tender and are not tied to the purchase of a meal plan. They can be used for other things around campus such as food, drinks, or items in the book store.   You may already have money in your account tied to your meal plan. This money is known as “Dining Dollars” and is specific to food purchases on campus. These dining dollars cannot be used to pay for printing
  • You can purchase or manage your Pacer Points through the GET funds webpage. You will need to login with your MarywoodYOU Credentials. You can purchase or manage your Pacer Points through the GET funds app, available in the Google Play store or the Apple App Store, by visiting the Cashier’s Office located on the terrace level of the Liberal Arts Center with cash, check, or credit card. Pacer Points can be refunded by the Cashier’s Office if you have a balance upon graduation.
How can I track what I have been printing?
  • Students can check their usage, balance, and transaction history by logging into the PaperCut portal with their MarywoodYOU credentials.
How much does it cost to print?
  • Color prints and copies are 30¢ per page or 52¢ for double sided. Black and White prints and copies are 10¢ per page or 16¢ for double sided. There is no cost associated with scanning.
How can I print?

When printing to the MUFollowMe queue, you would release the job at the copier by logging into PaperCut on the copier screen. You could use your MarywoodYOU credentials or by tapping your Marywood ID card on the badge reader

  • When printing from a Mac, you will need to put your MarywoodYou credentials into the dialog box that pops up.
    Can I scan things?

Scan to Email (scans to your Marywood Email)

Scan to Other Email (scans to any email address you input)

Scan to Google Drive (scans to your Marywood Google Drive)

    • Yes and scanning is free! Students can scan at any multifunction copier device on campus by logging into PaperCut on the copier screen by using their MarywoodYOU credentials or their Marywood ID card.
    Can I make copies?
    • Yes and you must have pacer points available to make copies.  Students can make copies at any multifunction copier device on campus by logging into PaperCut on the copier screen by using their MarywoodYOU credentials or their Marywood ID card. The Pacer Points balance will show after the transactions have been completed.
