A PhD in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies or EdD in Educational Leadership is intended for graduate students who are seeking career advancement in school leadership and administrative studies. By choosing one of the four educational leadership tracks, students experience coursework that is aligned with their area of administrative interest to become certified as a Principal, Special Education Supervisor, Curriculum and Instruction Supervisor, or District Superintendent.
The PhD and EdD programs at Marywood are 48 credit post-masters degree programs that prepare graduate students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence that they need to become effective, innovative, and collaborative leaders in a variety of school settings. Our outstanding faculty deliver highly impactful learning experiences completely online, using a hybrid format which allows candidates from around the world to experience the benefit of pursuing a terminal degree in educational leadership while maintaining full-time employment.
