                                                            Marie graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology in 1992.  After graduation she worked at the Moses Taylor Hospital laboratory for 10 years followed by supervision of a local hematology/oncology laboratory. 
 
In 2005, Marie graduated from Marywood University with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.  After graduation she worked in medical hematology/oncology.  In 2007, Marie joined the faculty of the Marywood University Physician Assistant Program and served in various positions including academic coordinator, clinical coordinator, clinical director, and presently as the program director.  In 2013, Marie received her Ph.D. in Human Development with a specialization in Health Promotion from Marywood University.  During her time at Marywood, Marie continues to practice clinically in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and presently in urgent care medicine.  
Marie serves as site visitor for the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) which is the national accrediting body for physician assistant programs.
