Dr. Eck received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from SUNY Plattsburgh. She went on to complete a combined Master’s and Dietetic Internship program at Rutgers University. She later earned her PhD in Nutritional Science from Rutgers University. Dr. Eck’s research interests include eating and weight-related knowledge and behaviors of athletes, as well as the development of behavior change interventions. In her free time Dr. Eck enjoys running and hiking with her husband and 2 dogs. When she is not outside being active you can likely find her in the kitchen baking up a sweet treat.
