John is an adjunct faculty member in the Lehigh Valley's MSW Program, drawing on more than 25 years of experience as a licensed social worker. His well-rounded expertise comes from working in a wide range of settings, including outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment facilities, crisis intervention, juvenile detention, and schools.

John earned his Bachelor's in Liberal Studies from Westfield State University and his Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania.

In his current role as the Member & Family Advocate at Magellan of Pennsylvania, John works directly with members and their families in Lehigh and Northampton counties. His passion is to help people navigate the behavioral health system, educate them about their options, and advocate for their treatment needs. He has been with Magellan since 2004, previously serving as a Clinical Care Management Supervisor and Director of Training. John is also the host and producer of the "Behavioral Health Matters Podcast" by Magellan of Pennsylvania. John also works part-time as a Voice Over Artist.

Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, John now lives in Hanover Township with his wife, Valerie, and their two sons. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, listening to podcasts, and cheering on his Boston sports teams.
