Franco Pisani is the Director of the Marywood University International Flirenze, where he teaches Design Studios and History of Italian Design.
Strongly tempted by the expanded opportunities offered by the “contamination” of apparently distant themes and disciplines, Franco Pisani includes within the profession of architecture research activities and educational experiences. He lives and works in Florence (Italy), where he runs his own professional office FRANCOPiSANiARCHiTETTO, practicing design at all scales, “from the spoon to the city,” and for public and private clients.
He has both taught as a Visiting Professor and lectured as an invited speaker at various universities in Italy and abroad. He has been editor in chief of il Quaderno, the ISI Florence Architectural series and has been published in academic and architerctural publications,
He holds a professional degree in architecture from the Universita’ degli Studi di Firenze, Florence (Italy).
