Why have you chosen to be part of the Marywood Alumni Association Board of Directors?

Marywood had such a positive impact on my life that I wanted to find a meaningful way to stay connected after graduation. Serving on the MAA Board allows me to give back to the university and continue building relationships with fellow alumni.

What is your favorite memory from your time as a student at Marywood University?

It's impossible to choose just one favorite memory because my time at Marywood was filled with so many meaningful experiences! Some of my best memories came from getting involved on campus, like serving as a student leader during New Student Orientation, working as a student journalist, being a radio disc jockey at VMFM, and producing TV news in the Communication Arts Department. Seeing Pope Francis in Philly with my colleagues was also a very memorable experience!

What advice would you give a student attending Marywood?

My advice is to document everything! Take lots of photos and videos, save memories with your friends, and don't be afraid to capture the little moments too. College goes by much faster than you expect, and you'll be grateful to have those memories to look back on years later. At the same time, get involved on campus, step outside your comfort zone, and enjoy every opportunity that comes your way. The friendships, experiences, and memories you make at Marywood will stay with you long after graduation.

What were you involved with during your time as a student at Marywood University? (athletics, clubs, etc.)

I was active with The Wood Word, 91.7 VMFM, TV-Marywood, the Digital Film Production Club in the Communications Arts department, The Odyssey, Her Campus, New Student Orientation, and the Student Government Association.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I'm always up for an adventure, and I enjoy immersing myself in new hobbies.
