Marywood University Theatre and Music will present a variety of performances this fall, including a theatrical recreation of a historic radio broadcast and concerts featuring Marywood student musicians.

War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast

Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts, Room 100 Theatre (Auditorium)

Marywood University Theatre presents War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, Joe Landry’s theatrical recreation of the legendary 1938 radio broadcast inspired by H.G. Wells’ science-fiction classic. The production features live Foley effects, vintage radio staging, and an ensemble creating the broadcast in real time. Blending suspense, humor, and old-time radio, the production explores fear, misinformation, and the stories we choose to believe.

Tutti Concert

Marywood University’s student musicians will perform in the Tutti Concert, featuring an afternoon of live music in the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts.
