Transfer Agreement Signed between Marywood and Hodges University
Marywood University and Hodges University, Naples, Fla., recently signed an articulation agreement for the universities’ respective Master of Arts programs.
Steven Brower, MFA, director of the “Get Your Master’s with the Masters” program at Marywood University, said, “The articulation agreement provides a wonderful opportunity for Hodges students to further their education, and we in the “Get your Master’s with the Masters” MFA program are looking forward to working with them to realize their goals and dreams.”
Marywood University will accept graduates of Hodges University’s Master of Arts in Visual Communication program, who have a 3.0 or higher QPA, into its Master of Fine Arts, Visual Arts degree program. Students will complete the remaining coursework at Marywood University, both on campus and through long-distance learning.

Retiring President Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D. to Address Class of 2024
Sister Mary, who will retire on June 30, will address graduates at Marywood University’s 106th Commencement on May 18, 2024, and will be recognized with a special tribute at the ceremony.

Atty. Lori, a Marywood graduate, formerly served as Board Chair. She will begin her presidential tenure on July 1, 2024.

Community Leadership Celebration to Honor Mary Ellen McDonough '73
During the celebration, Mrs. McDonough will receive the University’s Lead On Award, in recognition of her dedicated service as both a Certified Prevention Specialist and as a community volunteer leader.
