Jessica graduated from Marywood University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in pre-physician assistant studies. She then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood in 2014, where she completed a specialty track in emergency medicine.
Upon graduating, Jessica began working in emergency medicine at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She became the emergency department's main preceptor for PA students shortly thereafter. In addition, she was chosen to be the Lead Advanced Practice Clinician for the department and took on many administrative duties. Jessica has recently also enjoyed working in urgent care medicine. Her favorite thing about these specialties is the opportunity to help patients when they are typically in most need of acute care.
Jessica began working with the Physician Assistant Program at Marywood University in 2017 by assisting with skills labs, OSCEs, and proctoring practical examinations. She has also been a guest lecturer for the program, as well as Misericordia University’s PA program. Jessica became an Assistant Professor of Practice for the Physician Assistant Program at Marywood in 2022. She currently teaches Radiology, Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis I & II, and Medical Procedures I & II.
Jessica resides in Clarks Summit with her husband Stephen and their daughter, Aurora.
