About Me: Hi there! I joined the Marywood Admissions team in November 2022. In May 2020, I graduated from Kutztown University in the Honors Program, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. After that, I attended Pennsylvania State University, where I earned my Master's Degree in Chemistry (with a focus on Inorganic/Materials) in November 2022.
My Interests: I love spending time with my partner and our 3 cats more than anything! Outside of family, I also enjoy thrift shopping and bargain hunting. In the summertime I enjoy fishing on the Susquehanna River, and in the fall I enjoy hiking the beautiful mountains of NEPA.
Favorite Thing About Marywood: The small, tight-knit community. After attending medium and large-sized schools, I have a greater appreciation for the size of Marywood - it truly feels like a second family and a second home.
Favorite Place at Marywood: Of course, the Rotunda is breath-taking and I'm very fortunate to be able to walk through it everyday! Apart from that, I also love the view of the mountains from the second and third floors of the Learning Commons (especially in the fall!).
You’d Never Guess: I was a Community Assistant (CA) in first-year residence halls for over 3 years at Kutztown University! I was honored to be awarded CA of the Year in 2019. While my degrees are in Chemistry, working as a CA allowed me to realize that my ultimate passion is to serve as a resource to students.
Best Advice: Get involved!! Join clubs/organizations that interest you. Take advantage of the free events that are held on campus. Get to know your classmates. College is about more than just the degree you earn, it's also about the opportunities you get to experience along the way!
