Marywood Welcomes Veterans!

We are pleased to assist you in making a smooth transition from military life to that of a student. We are dedicated to providing you with the tools and services you need to succeed at Marywood University and prepare you to Lead On. This website provides detailed information regarding procedures and requirements related to utilizing GI Bill benefits to help you attain your educational goals.

Military/Veteran Graduate Open House:

Open House Sign Up Form

When: Marywood University will be holding an open house for future students on Saturday, April 12th.

Where: Nazareth Student Center

Session will include information about military/veteran education benefits with the Office of Military and Veteran Services along with conversations with current student veterans, representatives of academic departments, admissions counselors, financial aid, and members of campus clubs & organizations. Campus tours led by student veterans. Complimentary continental breakfast and buffet lunch for all guests.

Operation: Tails for Troops - April 13, 2014

Marywood University students in partnership with Abington Area Community Park are raising money for the non-profit Paws and Stripes. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to sponsor two wounded military veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury and rescue two shelter dogs. Marywood University's director of military and veterans services is also the NASPA Region II Veteran Knowledge Community Representative. Lauren Williams recently submitted a blog entitled, "What it Really Means to be Military Supportive". NASPA is an organization that represents student affairs representatives in higher education.
