The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection awarded a $9,800 grant to Marywood University that will be used to instruct and facilitate a five day Watershed Workshop for middle and high school teachers in Northeastern Pennsylvania today through June 26.

The 2008 CSAC Champion and NCAA Tournament Qualifiers Marywood University Women’s Soccer Team recently donated old uniforms to a school in Guatemala through the help of Javier Diaz, a Resident Director at Marywood. Diaz went on a service trip in late May facilitated through Marywood's Campus Ministry to deliver the uniforms.
Marywood University's Professional International Exchange Program (MPIX) will be welcoming three female international professionals as part of a four month exchange program this fall. MPIX, under the Council of International Programs USA, brings well qualified professionals to the United States for practical training programs. Marywood is seeking families to host these individuals from Germany and Turkey for a four week period. Host families may be single individuals or families.
