Military and Veteran Services

The Office of Military and Veteran Services is here to help with the unique educational needs of our Veteran, current Military, and dependent students at Marywood University. We work with traditional, non-traditional, undergraduate, graduate, combat Veterans, non-combat Veterans, current service members, and dependent students alike. Marywood University has been recognized consistently for its commitment to veteran and active military students and is the only local institution that has been recognized by class U.S. News and World Report as a Best College for Veterans.

Best College for Veterans 2025

Marywood, which was the only local university on the “Best Colleges for Veterans” (Regional Universities North), is ranked at #18 (tie), advancing a full 28 placements from last year’s ranking. According to U.S. News, this designation includes the top-ranked schools in the 2025 Best Colleges rankings that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active-duty service members pay for their degrees.

Marywood University Veteran Services Fair

Date/Time: Friday, February 20, 2026, 9am – 12pm EST
Location: Nazareth, Nazareth Hall Upper Main-Entire

Marywood University Veteran Services Fair will be held on February 20, 2026, at the Nazareth Student Center, Fireplace Lounge, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We currently have 17 confirmed veteran services vendors registered to participate.

Immediately following the services fair (11:00 A.M.–12:00 P.M., Upper Main Dining Room, Nazareth Student Center), we will host a special guest speaker, Brigadier General (PA) Keith Graham, Executive Director for Veterans Programs and Services. He will present on navigating the transition from military to civilian life and how veteran program services help bridge that gap.

Key discussion topics will include the challenges veterans face during transition, such as mental health, housing, education, and employment, as well as how veteran programs support individuals through VA benefits navigation, educational resources, and job placement. The presentation will also emphasize the importance of connecting early with available resources and how community support contributes to long-term success.
