Drop-in Writing Center - All tutoring sessions will be conducted remotely!

Follow these instructions for using the drop-in Writing Center:

  1. Refer to the schedule below.
  2. Choose a time that you would like to work with a tutor.
  3. Send an email to:peerwritingtutors@m.marywood.edu   NOTE: We cannot schedule appointments in advance. Send an email only during a time when a tutor is scheduled.
  4. If a tutor is available, you will get a response to begin your session.
  5. The tutor will invite you to share your paper as a Google doc.
  6. The tutor will invite you to conference using Google Meet.

 Cheryl Kashuba, the Writing Support Specialist, is available Monday-Thursday from 11am to 4pm.

Request an appointment with the Writing Support Specialist:

  1. At least one week in advance, email writingcenter@marywood.edu
  2. In your email, explain what type of writing support you need.
  3. The Writing Support Specialist will get back to you as soon as she can during her hours of availability.

For English Language Learners: The Writing Center does not offer ESL/ELL support. Students who need help with their English language skills should contact Emily Coleman, Academic Support Specialist for English Language Learners, located in LAC 222A.  Appointments are necessary.
