Improv Asylum !  Latour Conference Room, Nazareth Student Center

Enjoy a night of improv comedy from the world-renowned Improv Asylum from Boston, MA.  Come watch these amazing actors and comedians put on a show that is controlled by you, the audience ! No two shows are ever the same !

Student Leader Breakfast: Liguori Center, Regina Hall

The Center for Student Activities and Leadership Development invites current student leaders and their families and guests for a breakfast buffet reception. This event is invitation only.

Registration:  School of Architecture Lobby Area

For our guests who were unable to attend registration on Friday, begin the weekend at the registration area. You will receive your welcome packet, including an up-to-date schedule of the weekend events. 

 

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Fall Carnival! : Art Field (Rain Location – Insalaco Arena at the Center for Athletics and Wellness)

Join us for a fun filled day of carnival games, inflatable attractions, food and more!Take part in a pie eating contest, race through an obstacle course, test your strength at the High Striker, and be amazed by the Fire Eater!  Food will also be provided to enjoy, free of charge (Limited quantity available).  Seating is limited, so please feel free to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.

The Marywood University Bookstore will be open.

11:00 AM-2:00 PM
Brunch on Your Own, Main Dining Room

This will be your first opportunity to dine in our Main Dining Room.  Choose from a wide variety of popular menu options.   The cost for this meal is $6 per person.

12:00 PM-5:00 PM
The Center for Athletics and Wellness and the Health and Physical Education Center will be open for use for any student or family member to enjoy the track, fitness center, locker rooms, gym or pool. Please note that the minimum age to use the facilities is sixteen years old.

ATHLETIC CONTEST

 

 1:00  PM – 2:30 PM
Pacer Pride!, Adjacent to Pacers Turf Field

While cheering on the Pacers, visit the Pacer Pride tables for free pom-poms, foam fingers and enjoy beverages, jumbo pretzels and cracker jacks. 

4:00 PM
2nd Annual Nick Ferrante Men's Lacrosse Alumni Game
This game will be played in honor of Marywood Men's lacrosse player, Nick Ferrante.

4:30 PM-6:30 PM
Dinner-on-your-own

Enjoy a leisurely dinner in the Main Dining Room or experience one of Scranton’s many excellent eateries.  Restaurant listings will be available at Registration.  The cost for this meal is $8 per person.

7:00 PM
The Marywood University Dance Team Performance:
Latour Conference Room, Nazareth Student Center
Come see the Marywood University Dance Team perform some of their dances that will be featured at both men’s and women’s basketball games.

8:00 PM-10:30 PM
Casino Night
: Latour Conference Room, Nazareth Student Center
Play blackjack, spin the roulette wheel and try your luck at craps and much more!  Play for chances to win great prizes! Also, enjoy musical entertainment in the Fireplace Lounge, featuring DAVE BINDER, a favorite here at Marywood University.  Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Liturgy: Marian Chapel, Swartz Center for Spiritual Development
The sacred liturgy is a part of all major Marywood celebrations. During this weekend we assemble as a family to celebrate God's presence among us through the actions of the Sunday Liturgy. Families of all faiths are warmly invited to join us as we pray for God's blessing on our students, their families, the Marywood community, and our world.

The University Bookstore will be open.

11:30 AM
Family Brunch: Main Dining Room, Nazareth Student Center

As the weekend comes to a close, come together and enjoy a relaxing brunch as a family.  The cost for this meal is $6 per person.
