Norah O’Donnell Slated as Keynote Speaker for Commencement

Norah O'Donnell, the chief Washington correspondent for NBC News' 24-hour cable channel MSNBC and a contributing correspondent for NBC's top-rated Today show, will be the keynote speaker at Marywood University's commencement on May 10 at the Wachovia Arena, Wilkes-Barre.

Release the Light Program to Raise Awareness of Sexual Assault

Marywood University will join in the national effort of raising awareness of sexual assault by providing the 8th Annual Release the Light Program on Wednesday, April 15, from 12-2 p.m. in the Memorial Commons (Rain location: Fireplace Lounge, Nazareth Student Center.)

Nineteen graduate and undergraduate art students from Marywood University will exhibit sculptures, ceramics, paintings, printmaking, graphics, and photography at the Marquis Art and Frame, Scranton from April 3-28.

Music Recital Performed by Faculty Free for Public- April 3

The Faculty Recital will be held on Friday, April 3 at 7p.m. in the Marian Chapel. The recital will include works by Robert Fuchs, Penderecki, Haydn, and Schubert.

Wind Ensemble Alumni to Perform at Reunion Concert, April 5

Marywood University, in conjunction with the retirement of long-time director of the Wind Ensemble, William Weber, will present Reunion Concert on April 5, at 7:30p.m., in the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts.
