Area Residents Invited to E-Cycle with Students on Saturday, April 25 Tue, April 21, 2009 Marywood University students under the direction of Dr. Robert Sadowski, will be hosting an e-cycling event Saturday, April 25th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Marywood University's "Pit" parking lot, located on the Marywood campus across from Loughran Hall.
New York City Galleries Host Professor’s Work Mon, April 20, 2009 Steven Alexander, Associate Art Professor in the Insalaco College of Creative Arts and Management, exhibited paintings in Gallery One Twenty Eight in New York, NY. The exhibit includes GeoMetrics II, an invitational group exhibition which focuses on various forms of geometric abstraction in contemporary paintings.
Joan Mattera Speaks at Distinguished Visiting Artist Lecture Series- Apr. 20 Thu, April 16, 2009 The Marywood University Art Department's Distinguished Visiting Artist Lecture Series will present a lecture by Joanne Mattera, painter, author, curator, and blogger, on Monday, April 20 at 3:30 p.m. in Media Room 160, Learning Resources Center. A reception will follow in the Shields Center for Visual Arts, where attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Ms. Mattera. Both the lecture and reception is free and open to the public.
Senior Exhibition on Display in Mahady Gallery Wed, April 15, 2009 The Marywood University Art Department and Galleries will present Senior Exhibition and Open House through April 26 in the Mahady Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts. The exhibit will feature work from 78 graduating students.
