MSW Students Volunteer at NAMI Walk for the Mind Wed, May 27, 2009 Three MSW students (Roseanne Pace, Barb Serino and Lynne Gallagher) volunteered at the NAMI walk for the mind and mental health fair held on May 23at Kirby Park in Wilkes- Barre, Pa. All three proudly wore their Marywood School of Social Work t- shirts while volunteering. Their picture was featured in the Citizen's Voice newspaper on May 27.
Music at Marywood: 34th Annual Summer Concert Series Wed, May 27, 2009 Marywood University's Music Department announces the 34th Annual Summer Concert Series, Music at Marywood. The series take place on Sundays at 7:30p.m. in the Memorial Commons, Marywood University. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Commencement Medalists Announced Wed, May 20, 2009 Marywood University awarded medals for academic excellence and achievement during separate hooding and honors convocation ceremonies. The honored graduates were from Marywood University's Reap College of Education and Human Development, Insalaco College of Creative Arts and Management, College of Health and Human Services, and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Speech-Language-Hearing Club Raises Money for Local Head Start Tue, May 19, 2009 The Speech-Language-Hearing Club raised $1,400 for the Scranton Lackawanna Human Development Agency, Head Start, to purchase education items such as AAC devices, computers and peripheral computer devices and other related materials like clinical tests and software.
