Fall Festival - Sunday, October 21, 2012

Fall Fest is going to take place on Sunday October 21, 2012 at Roba Family Farms. Volunteers are needed to be Buddies, who will team up with a child on the day of the event and participate in the different activities that are available at the farm. The number of Buddies able to come on the trip is limited. Volunteers are also needed to help with creating advertising for the event. Sign ups are in Campus Ministry, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life. Also, we are searching for another co-chair to serve on the committee planning the event. Individuals interested in serving on the committee for Fall Fest next year are preferred. Applications for this position are available in Campus Ministry. Lecture at King's College - "With Liberty & Justice for Some? Race, Poverty, and Catholic Social Thought"

Fr. Bryan Massingale, S.T.D., Professor of Theology at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will present this year's Moreau lecture at King's College: "With Liberty and Justice for Some? Race, Poverty, and Catholic Social Thought." The same lecture will be given at 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 2, at the Burke Auditorium of the McGowan School of Business, King's College, Wilkes-Barre. Lectures are free and open to the public.

Remodeled Bookstore Holds Grand Reopening

Following extensive renovations over the summer, the bookstore will mark its grand reopening on Wednesday, September 26, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music, and other activities.
