2013-2014 FAFSA

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for 2013-2014 is available for completion. Any student wishing to access federal or state funds to assist with costs related to your education must complete the FAFSA. We suggest a deadline of April 15. If you are a Pennsylvania resident who wishes to be considered for a state grant, you need to be aware that the state will not accept applications filed after May 1.

1. Begin the process by collecting your personal and tax information and your FAFSA PIN numbers.
2. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and begin the FAFSA process.
3. If you have filed your taxes electronically or your paper taxes have been submitted for more than a month, use the IRS Tax Retrival Tool. If selected for Verification, this will make the process easier to complete. 
4. Be sure to "Submit" the FAFSA at the end of the process.
