Important Dates

Summer Session I 2011

4/20/11  Last day to register with billing option.

4/21/11  Payment must now be made at registration.

5/04/11  Summer Session I 2011 Due Date for students who were billed.

5/13/11  A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.

5/16/11  Summer I 2011 begins.

5/20/11  Last day to register/add classes.  Last day to drop courses & receive 100% 

             refund/cancellation of tuition & course fees for classes that begin on 5/16/11.

6/29/11  Summer I 2011 ends.


Summer Session II 2011

5/24/11  Last day to register with billing option.

5/25/11  Payment must now be made at registration.

6/08/11  Summer Serssion II 2011 Due Date for students who were billed.

6/29/11  A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.

6/30/11  Summer II 2011 begins.

7/4/11    No classes.  Offices closed.

7/7/11    Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/

              cancellation of tuition & course fees for classes that begin on 6/30/11.

8/17/11  Summer I 2011 ends. 

WITHDRAWAL:  Students who decide not to attend must notify the Academic Records Office in writing or drop classes via the web by May 20, 2011 for Summer I and July 7, 2011 for Summer II in order to receive a reduction of charges for those courses scheduled within institutional session parameters.  Other courses may have different cutoff dates. Contact the Academic Records Office if you need information on a specific course. Non-attendance or non-payment does not constitute notification of withdrawal.

                

Fall Semester 2011

7/15/11
Last day to set up on-line monthly payment plan with 20% down payment & 4 remaining monthly payments.
7/21/11

Last day to register with billing option.

8/08/11
Fall Semester 2011 Due Date for students who received a bill.
8/05/11
Last day to set up on-line monthly payment plan with 25% down payment & 3 remaining monthly payments.
8/19/11
A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
8/22/11
Fall Semester 2011 begins.

9/02/11

Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes.   Last day for part-time students to change status to full-time.  Students will then be charged block tuition if registered for 12 - 18 credits, and $600.00 per credit for any credits over 18.

Room cancelled except for $300 room fee: board charges are prorated.

80% Refund/Cancellation period begins.

Last day to drop courses & receive 80% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes.  Students owe 20% of charges.
9/09/11
Last day to set up on-line monthly payment plan with 50% down payment & 2 remaining monthly payments.

9/07/11

65% Refund/Cancellation period begins.

Last day to drop courses & receive 65% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 35% of charges.

9/14/11

9/20/11

50% Refund/Cancellation period begins.

Last day to drop courses & receive 50% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 50% of charges.
9/21/11

Any courses dropped today receive no refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees.  Students owe 100% of charges.

Last day to waive student health insurance.

UNEARNED FINANCIAL AID:  Financial aid received by students who withdraw may also be adjusted.  In accordance with current federal regulations, those students who receive federal financial aid and who withdraw from the University during the first 60% of a semester will have their federal financial aid adjusted based on the percent of the semester completed prior to withdrawal.  A detailed explanation of the federal policy and withdrawal/refund dates are available from the Cashier's Office.

Non-attendance or non-payment does not constitute notification of withdrawal.

 

Spring Semester 2012

11/17/11
Last day to register with billing option.
11/18/11

12/06/11 Last day to set up on-line monthly payment plan with 20% down payment & 4 remaining monthly payments.
12/09/11 Spring Semester 2012 Due Date for students who received a bill.
1/05/12 Last day to set up on-line monthly payment plan with 25% down payment & 3 remaining monthly payments.
1/06/12 A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
1/09/12 Spring Semester 2012 begins.
1/17/12 Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Room cancelled except for $300 fee; board charges are prorated. Last day for part-time students to change status to full-time.
