Design Your Future

High School Students

A two-week immersion program for students who are looking to expand their knowledge about Interior Architecture and Architecture through design, including lectures, reviews, workshops, field trips, and studio projects. On the weekend, a computer workshop covers Photoshop and other Adobe Suites programs used in design.

Girls Basketball Camp

Girls Basketball Camp

Girls: Ages 7-15

Campers will be divided into two groups based on age and ability. This week is designed to help participants learn the game of basketball while having a ton of fun. We will be having stations, ball handling, shooting, passing drills! We will also be playing 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 & 5v5! There will be down time for swimming in the last hour of camp.

Boys Basketball Instructional Camps

Boys Basketball Instructional Camps

Camp Week I: July 15-19, Camp Week II: July 29-August 2

Ages 7-15

Campers will be divided into groups based on age, skill set, and experience. Each day, campers will go through a dynamic stretch, ball handling workout, six stations, and one game set each morning. The afternoons will be filled with lessons and a skills clinic, demonstrated by coaches and Marywood Men’s Basketball team members; a daily competition (Hot Shot, Free Throw, 1 on 1, etc.); and at least 2 - 3 more game sets to conclude the day. The final hour of our day will provide campers with a choice to either swim or play in a supervised open gym. We will invite parents to attend our awards ceremony on the last day of camp.

Family Basketball Camp

Family Basketball Camp

August 2-3
August 2: 5-10pm, August 3: 9am-3pm
Center for Athletics and Wellness

Minimum Age: 5

Participants will receive instruction from the Marywood coaches, along with current players, through detailed skill work and competitions in the state-of-the-art Insalaco Arena at Marywood University. Parent-Child teams will participate with fellow campers of appropriate age groups (based on child’s age/grade level) in competitions that incorporate skills learned throughout the camp. The skill work is designed to give both parent and child useful drills and techniques to take home and continue working on together.

Ages 7-14

Campers will be divided into groups based on skill levels and experience. Each day campers will go through a dynamic stretch, stick work stations, and small-sided drills each morning. After lunch, there will be a lesson/skills clinic demonstrated by coaches and Marywood Women’s Lacrosse team members. Following the demonstration, there will be team concepts and small sided games, progressing up to a full field game on the last day.

Girls: Grades 7-12

Campers will be split into Jr. High and High School groups to keep skill and ages appropriate. The day camp will consist of team warm up, preseason fitness, skill instruction, small sided games, and scrimmaging. The Marywood Field Hockey coaching staff will be conducting the camp.
