About me:
I joined the Marywood Admissions staff in February 2017. I am a 2012 graduate of Keystone College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6. I am also certified in Early Childhood Education N-3. I was born and raised in Parsippany, NJ. My husband and I currently reside in Old Forge, PA – the pizza capital of the world!

My interests: I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading and recently joined a Book of the Month club. I also play on a Dart League with my husband and a few friends (I am terrible!). My favorite place to go is anywhere that has a beach and sunshine. My goal for the immediate future is to adopt a puppy!

My favorite thing about Marywood: The second I walked onto Marywood’s campus it felt like home. Everyone here is so friendly and genuinely interested in your well-being. I feel like that is hard to find in other places.

My favorite place on campus: I find the Learning Commons really intriguing. The technology used for the Automatic Book Retrieval System is fascinating. I also love walking in and seeing students hard at work, or enjoying time spent with friends. I really feel like it’s a great place to be creative, collaborative, and comfortable.
You'd never guess: I am a music fanatic. I have been to well over 500 concerts in my lifetime that spread across all genres. Some of the artists I have seen in concert range from Metallica, Bon Jovi, The Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Taking Back Sunday, and my favorite, Andrew McMahon.
My best advice: Don’t be afraid to try new things. Life happens when you step outside of your comfort zone. Now is the time to go out on a limb and try something you may have been intimidated by in the past. Whether it is making new friends, taking an art class, or joining a club, you never know what possibilities lie ahead if you don’t take that leap!
