About me: I joined the Marywood Admissions team in February 2018.  I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Psychology.  I was born and raised in Moscow, PA and currently reside in Jermyn, PA with my husband and our dog, Copper.

My interests: I love to be with my family and friends!  During the summer I spend most of my free time on my family’s boat at Lake Wallenpaupack.  It truly is one of my favorite places to be. I also enjoy doing anything outdoors, traveling, and venturing to new places to eat.

My favorite thing about Marywood:  Everyone is so pleasant and welcoming.  From the faculty and staff to the students, you can’t walk around campus without getting a friendly hello.

My favorite place at Marywood: The entire campus at Marywood is beautiful. But, if I had to narrow it down, I would say the School of Architecture is my favorite.  The converted building is very impressive!

You’d never guess: I love to go fishing, especially for trout!  I always get an interesting reaction from people when I inform them of this.  I have formed a great bond with my dad and husband while fishing and will continue to be by the stream every opening day in April!

Best advice: Ask questions! This is YOUR investment and YOUR future, you want to make sure you get it right.   Whether you are confirming the application process with your admissions counselor or learning more about the field from faculty, don’t be afraid to ask any and all questions you may have.
