Agape Latte/Campus Ministry (Featured Student: Brien McChesney)
Agape Latte combines coffee, faith/life conversations, and a comfortable environment to ask questions. This student-driven model has expanded from Boston College to colleges across the country, including Marywood University, and reflects the core value of Catholic Identity. Next event: Sunday, November 18, 1-3 p.m., Fireplace Lounge, Nazareth Student Center
The Marywood Campus Community (Featured Participants: Mary Roche and Karen Rossmell)
While many of us look forward to the Thanksgiving feast that we enjoy each year with family and friends, not everyone has the means to do so. That’s where Marywood’s Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Family program steps in, as students, faculty, and staff unite their efforts to assist local families in need.
National Association for Music Education chapter [NAfME-c] (Featured Student: Craig Beavers)
Music nourishes the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Marywood’s National Association for Music Education chapter (NAfME-c) works to ensure that students in grades 6-12 can enjoy large ensemble experiences, have the opportunity to work with first-rate clinicians, and get the chance to interact with other music students from around the region.
Student Activities and Leadership Development Office (SALD)
At Marywood University, our mission espouses “the belief that education empowers people.” That belief takes root in and is demonstrated through our students and their leadership endeavors.
