Marywood's educational tradition is more than 85-years-old, but that doesn't mean we take an "old school" approach to learning. Instead, our students benefit from innovative, personalized programs that balance theory and research with practical application of that knowledge in real school settings. We offer a variety of programs and teacher certifications, both online and in person. As an undergraduate, you'll begin field experience in local schools during your first year of study, have the opportunity to learn in first-rate facilities, find supportive faculty who are dedicated to your development as a teacher, and benefit from a program whose graduates are actively recruited. On the graduate level, a range of certifications, specialized endorsements, and advanced degrees meet the educational needs of practicing teaching professionals and future leaders in education.

Marywood School of Education is pleased to announce our weeklong summer camp: Friendship University. The camp will take place July 22-26, 2024 and will run from 9am-12pm. Spots are limited so hurry and secure your child's space today!
Campers ages 5-7 yrs. old will engage in outdoor physical activity, arts and crafts, team building, and friendship!

Marywood University School of Education Certification Programs are designed to meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education program competencies. Upon successful completion of one of our certification programs, students may apply to the Pennsylvania Department of Education in the area they studied.

Marywood University's School of Education is proud to announce a weeklong summer camp for ages 5-7 years old during the week of July 22nd-July 26th. Camp will be held in the McGowan Center and will run from 9am-12pm each day. Cost of camp is $110 for the week. Camp topics will include possibilities such as: games, outdoor activities, team building, and arts and crafts with a focus on kindness and friendship throughout the week. Of course, we can't forget to mention Friday Fun Day, which will be full of surprises! The camp will be limited to 20 spots and will be first come, first served.
