A Beginners Guide to Understanding Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dr. Matthew Schaffer, Psy.D.
This training is designed for practicing mental health professionals in psychology, counseling and social work interested in exposure to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, the gold standard in treatment of emotion dysregulation. This training will NOT prepare a clinician to use DBT formally in their practice. However, the training will give an excellent overview of the unique clinical features of DBT, clients best suited for referrals for DBT treatment and will offer exposure to DBT interventions.
