Carolann Page defines the true crossover artist earning critical and popular acclaim as the creator of leading roles in world premieres in both the operatic and musical theatre worlds.

Performing highlights:
In Opera, Professor Page gained international recognition creating the role of Pat Nixon in the Emmy and Grammy winning opera Nixon in China. Standard operatic roles with major opera companies include all three heroines in Les Contes d’Hoffman, the title role in Massenet’s Manon, Musetta and Mimi in La Boheme and Elivira in Don Giovanni. On Broadway, she starred as Cunegonde in Hal Prince’s Tony-winning revival of Bernstein’s Candide and in Sondheim: A Celebration at Carnegie Hall. Off-Broadway, her many diverse creations include the ditsy Iowa Housewife in the original cast of Menopause, the Musical.

Professor Page was a founding faculty member of the Professional Musical Theatre Workshop at the Manhattan School of Music (1992-2010) and was Adjunct Professor of Voice and Director of the Opera /Theatre Workshop at New York University (1997-2002). She is currently Assistant Professor of Voice at Rider University. Her students continue to grace the operatic and concert stages as well as those on Broadway.

One of the youngest voice majors to be accepted into the legendary Curtis Institute of Music, Professor Page has been performing professionally and teaching both singing and acting for over 40 years. She is the daughter of the late renowned musical conductor, Robert Page and Glynn Page (voice teacher Emeritus, Carnegie Mellon School of Drama). Her son is Tony nominated Broadway actor, singer, music director, Alexander Gemignani. In true crossover fashion, she is still busy performing her own Cabaret Evening throughout the tri-state area.
