Christina "Tina" Kulp, MSW, LCSW, APHSW-C, is an enthusiastic educator as evidenced by her Assistant Professor position at Marywood University School of Social Work and her role as a guest lecturer at various institutions. She also serves as the Field Director for Marywood University School of Social Work, and enjoys coordinating, matching, and guiding the field experience opportunities for the next generation of social work professionals.

Prior to coming to Marywood University full time, Christina specialized in hospice, palliative care, and bereavement counseling. With a master’s degree in social work from Marywood University and ongoing pursuit of a Doctorate in Social Work, Tina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her roles. She is a certified Advance Palliative Hospice Social Worker, has a post-graduate certification in Gerontology, and holds licenses as an LCSW in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

An active member of numerous professional organizations, including NASW, Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network, and the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work, Tina is dedicated to staying current in her field. She has presented at conferences relating to a variety of medical social work, including an inter-professional approach to patient care, and contributed to publications on topics such as grief counseling and Telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other joys in Tina's life include spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and faithful German Shepherd Dog, driving her wrangler, and reading, preferable by the ocean!
