Professor Anna Petrin specializes in the history and development of practices of Christian worship. Her research explores the prayers and practices of the early Church and modern liturgical and ecumenical theology. Prof. Petrin is passionate about exploring the academic study of religion with students and about working with them to investigate the intersections between thought, worship, and everyday life in religious traditions. Prior to joining the faculty at Marywood, she taught at Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington, D.C.) and the University of Notre Dame (Notre Dame, Indiana).
