Prayer for Peace
Dear Marywood Community,
Our hearts go out to our students from Ukraine and their families, especially those who still live in that country. We are outraged by the inhumanities inflicted upon the good people there, and we stand in solidarity with them in every way we can. The atrocities inflicted upon the families of Ukraine are unprovoked and evil. I commend the individual sectors of our campus community for the unfaltering and universal response that calls all of us to pray and work for peace wherever we are. I urge us as a community to be of one mind and heart in our support of the people of Ukraine and in our rejection of the inhumanity that is devastating their lives.
This prayer for peace for the men, women, and children of Ukraine was written by one of our IHM Sisters.
