Accounting Articulation Agreement Announced

An articulation agreement with SUNY Broome was recently signed for each of the University's respective accounting programs. Under this agreement, SUNY Broome students earning an associate degree in accounting can enroll in Marywood University and earn a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting within a two-year time frame.

This agreement marks the fifth agreement with SUNY Broome this year. Previously signed articulation agreements between Marywood University and SUNY Broome include: SUNY Broome’s associate in science: visual communication arts and Marywood University’s bachelor of arts: art therapy degree; SUNY Broome’s associate in science: visual communications arts program and Marywood University’s bachelor of fine arts in design with an emphasis in photography; SUNY Broome’s associate in science: visual communication arts program and Marywood University’s bachelor of fine arts with an emphasis in graphic design; and SUNY Broome’s associate in applied science in nursing and Marywood University’s bachelor of science in nursing.

These five agreements help to facilitate an easy transfer for SUNY Broome students, and it is predicted that students can earn their bachelor’s degree in two years at the University by following the agreement.

Development of articulation agreements with two-year community colleges continues to be a priority of the University, as it eases the transfer process for students in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. The University partners with colleges throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, as well as community colleges in New York and New Jersey.
