Office of Institutional Equity and Inclusion Releases Statement about Violence Against our Asian Brothers and Sisters
The Office of Institutional Equity and Inclusion would like to take this moment to amplify the profound injustice and decimation directed at our Asian and Asian American brothers and sisters during the recent violent events that took place in Atlanta, Georgia. These acts not only stand in stark opposition to our values and beliefs at Marywood University, but they are an acute reminder of the call to action we must all take to build a thriving, inclusive community.
At this time, any member of the Marywood community can find a space to gather and engage in dialogue at the Office of Institutional Equity and Inclusion (LAC 218), the Office of Student Equity and Inclusion (Learning Commons 372), or at the Counseling and Student Development Center.
