Covid-19 Candlelight Vigil to be Held
Marywood University’s Accounting and Finance Club will hold a candlelight ceremony to honor lives lost to Covid-19. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m., outside the McGowan Center for Graduate and Professional Studies.
With more than a half million deaths reported in the United States from Covid-19, and nearly 3 million worldwide, Marywood University’s Accounting and Finance Club will hold the vigil to mourn the lives lost and to pray for healing for all of the families and friends who have been affected by the loss of their loved ones.
Marywood University’s Accounting and Finance Club aims to further develop a deeper understanding of the accounting and finance profession in the real world. This is achieved through guest speakers within the profession and other types of networking opportunities. In addition to the aforementioned, the Accounting and Finance Club regularly holds programs and workshops for community members and groups to help them understand basic money management and finance skills.
