Raising Money to End Alzheimer's
The University’s Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) recently volunteered at the two-mile Walk to End Alzheimer’s that was held at PNC Field. Through the efforts of more than 850 participants, over $100,000 was raised. Money raised will provide funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

Retiring President Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D. to Address Class of 2024
Sister Mary, who will retire on June 30, will address graduates at Marywood University’s 106th Commencement on May 18, 2024, and will be recognized with a special tribute at the ceremony.

Lisa A. Lori, J.D. Elected as Marywood University's First Lay President
Atty. Lori, a Marywood graduate, formerly served as Board Chair. She will begin her presidential tenure on July 1, 2024.

Community Leadership Celebration to Honor Mary Ellen McDonough '73
During the celebration, Mrs. McDonough will receive the University’s Lead On Award, in recognition of her dedicated service as both a Certified Prevention Specialist and as a community volunteer leader.
