Exercise Science Department to Offer High School Open Day
The athletic training and exercise science department will offer a high school open day on Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 9 a.m. – 1:45 p.m., at the Center for Athletics and Wellness. This event is free and open to high school students who are interested in studying athletic training, exercise science, or related academic programs.
The high school open day will include a full day of fun, hands-on learning experiences; a tour of campus; the opportunity to meet with faculty and students about the programs offered, specific areas of study, and career opportunities. Lunch will be provided to students.

The $8,000 grant was awarded to the S.T.A.R.S. (Students Together Achieving Remarkable Success) program. To date, the Robert H. Spitz Foundation has been a significant source of support, awarding $60,000 to S.T.A.R.S. since its inception in 2018.
