Research Interests
School Psychology preparation; working with collaborative teams; Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS); school-wide implementation of self-regulation skills curriculums; and development of trauma sensitive schools and practice.
As a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist, Dr. Badner has worked as a direct service provider across multiple and diverse settings and has supervised professional staff at bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. As an educator, Dr. Badner has presented at local and state conferences on school wide implementation of self-regulation skills as a multi-tiered system of support, in addition to providing ongoing consultation, education, and evaluation services for students, faculty, and administrators in both preschool and school-age settings. Dr. Badner has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including doctoral level students in both clinical and school psychology.
