Summary of Duties
Join the Marywood University Physician Assistant Team! Marywood University invites you to apply for the position of Clinical Coordinator. This is a full time, 12-month, Assistant Professor of Practice position.
The Clinical Coordinator’s responsibilities include oversight of the clinical curriculum, scheduling of clinical rotations, being a liaison with clinical sites and preceptors, coordinating and teaching courses, advising students, maintaining and developing clinical sites, and visiting and evaluating preceptors and sites to ensure ARC-PA Standards are met. The Clinical Coordinator is a principal faculty member and will be directly involved in student evaluation, remediation, Program evaluation, accreditation, and other activities.

The applicant should be a graduate of an accredited PA Program and must hold an advanced degree in a related field, a current NCCPA certification, hold or be eligible for Pennsylvania licensure.
Work Experience Requirements
Three years of clinical experience is required.
Required: a commitment to the mission and core values of the University, strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as computer skills including the use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, database use, and the Typhon clinical tracking system.
Preferred: PA Program teaching or precepting experience, good organizational skills, knowledge of ARC-PA Standards related to clinical education, and the willingness to travel.
