Marywood University’s music, theatre, and dance department will present, Elegies: A Song Cycle, on Friday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 6, at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 7, at 2 p.m. The performances are free and open to all Marywood University students, faculty, and staff. Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Elegies: A Song Cycle, is a celebration of life. Under the direction of Timothy Pyles, MFA, Ph.D., director of theatre at Marywood University, the cast will take attendees on a journey of love, loss, and laughter. Through the 18 diverse musical numbers, audience members will feel, cry, laugh, and walk away with hope.
All actors and audience members will be physically distanced. Actors will be wearing face shields during the entire performance. Live audiences are limited to Marywood students, faculty, and staff only, and all are required to fear a mask.
