Noteworthy…

The Marywood University Children's Choir (MUCC) competed at Annville-Cleona High School, Anneville, PA on Saturday, June 5, 1999 in "The Music in the Parks Competition" sponsored by Hersheypark. Thirty-four participating musical ensembles were adjudicated.
 
The Children's Choir won three trophies:
- First place, Superior Rating
- Judges Choice, Best Choir (over 20 choirs participating)
- Espirit de Corps - Group who best exemplified the attitude and conduct befitting a musical organization (over 34 performing ensembles were observed)
 
MUCC Accompanist, Sarah Holgate, a sophomore at Lackawanna Trail High
School and a student of Ray Cramer, Dalton, PA received a trophy for
"Outstanding Accompanist." Two other awards were given in this category.
 

Congratulations to Jodi Rinehimer and Penny Renoll, directors of the Marywood University Children's Choir!
